Hilary knew from the first time she ever picked up a camera that the best part about it was capturing emotion, happiness, love, and all of those fleeting moments in between. Hilary takes notice and can appreciate all of the time you take into planning the perfect day down to every last little detail that shows who you are as a couple, and expresses your love so perfectly.

It is such an honor to capture beautiful love stories. Hilary is a hopeless romantic, and a sucker for a good love story. Hilary really strives to create a personal connection with every couple, and really getting to know them. When getting ready on your wedding day, it will be a relief to welcome someone who feel like a friend rather than some random vendor you hired to capture one of the most intimate days of your life. Friendship creates comfort, comfort means trust. You are trusting me to document every moment of your day, and retell it in the way that it unfolds.  The way your breath is taken away when you see each other for the first time,  the tears you hold back as you recite your vows, the hand squeezes as you try to hold all of those emotions in, the blissful happiness until your cheeks hurt while grinning ear to ear because you “finally did it”, the emotional moments that don’t leave a dry eye in the room, oh and don’t forget getting down on the dance floor, singing at the top of your lungs (Hilary will be right along with you). 

Hilary captures a mix of lightly posed and prompted portraits, the in between moments as you laugh together, documentary style candid moments, and of course the details of your wedding day to create a beautiful cohesive album of images that retells the story of your wedding day so perfectly in that when you look at them you can’t help but get emotional reliving your day all over, time and time again. Something that sets our experience apart is that Hilary believes in covering each event from the beginning to end end. Which for you means that all collections come with two shooters,  for the whole amount of coverage not just generally what is deemed “the most important parts” because it is your wedding day, its all important! She wants to make sure that no moment is missed! These shooters are mentored by Hilary and have worked closely with her to shoot in the style she does. Hilary wants to get to know you both, your love, what brought you together, and the story that exists between you. 

By the time your wedding day rolls around, we will be besties. Let us be the best sidekicks for your wedding day. We are more than just photographers on your big day and have many hats as your day goes by, we just happen to be wearing cameras. We are there to help create and keep you on a timeline to make sure your day flows the way it should. Be a voice of reason because we have the experience of wedding day stress when making last minute decisions, tear up with you as you repeat your vows to each other (it never fails that Hilary gets emotional during this part) , going to find Grandma when it comes time for family formals (who knew Grandma could move so fast), we’re there to help bustle your dress when your bridesmaids are staring at the back of your dress like a puzzle, be your hype team (and probably embarrass ourselves trying to make you laugh), and be right by your side when you need us. We are here to make sure your day goes on without a hitch.
